Greenville Open Studios
Greenville Open Studios celebrates the local visual arts community with free studio tours for the public. What began as an idea among a small group of artists to raise awareness of their practice in the greater community has evolved into a full-fledged annual event. This exciting tradition is now celebrating its 24th year!
The goals of Greenville Open Studios are to provide free and convenient community access to visual arts, to educate and create a dialogue between artists and the general public by opening artists’ places of work and inviting the community-at-large to participate in the creative process and to create new marketing opportunities for artists. This community-wide event opens up the world of visual artists to everyone – from the seasoned collector to the first-time art buyer to the curious general public.
Stop by Good Art Co. to tour 10 different artist studios during this event, see behind the artists’ process, live painting, free refreshments and more!
Open Studio Hours:
- Saturday Nov. 14th from 10am—6pm
- Sunday Nov. 15th from Noon—4pm
ART MOUTH
A monthly creative meetup!
Art Mouth is a guided conversation that explores themes found in all disciplines of art. A curated list of questions will be provided by moderators to spark thought-provoking conversation. Participants will talk through these topics to foster connection and collaboration among local artists.
Art Mouth will be held on a monthly basis. Over the course of 2 hours, facilitators Matt and Libby will lead participants through a warm-up exercise and verbal discussion. The last 30 minutes will be reserved for attendees to showcase recent works and network. For all voices to be heard, group size will be limited to 15 participants per session, so registering in advance is highly encouraged. This discussion group is free for all participants, but donations are encouraged to support free programs like this one!

5-Session Oil Painting Workshop with Diarmuid Kelly
September - 21st, 28th, October 5th, 12th, and 19th (single or limited sessions available by request!)
Elevate your studio practice by mastering the timeless techniques of the old masters with a master oil painter himself, Diarmuid Kelly. This intensive course focuses on structural draftsmanship, design, and will develop an understanding of light, shadow and form. This class is designed for intermediate and advanced painters looking to refine their technical precision and personal style.
Details:
When: Five Monday morning classes from 10am-12:30pm in September and October 2026 (9/21, 9/28, 10/5, 10/12, and 10/19).
Duration: 2.5 hours per session (6 sessions total)
Where: The Good Art Co. main floor gallery – 10 Central Ave., Greenville, SC 29601
