This series explores the complex relationship between memory and the senses. Even a single sensation, such as the sound of rain, the tension of moving water, or the texture of floorboards, can anchor to an emotional memory. In these drawings, I work within the limitation of sight to express memories that were formed through a full sensory experience. The process invites distortion, omission, and reinterpretation, allowing me to reconstruct spaces and textures entirely from memory and imagination. By emphasizing small, often overlooked details, these drawings attempt to honor the way the mind preserves sensory fragments with striking clarity, even as time alters the recollection as a whole.
