Get hands-on with the expressive and tactile world of drypoint printmaking in this fun, creative 4-week class designed for adults of all experience levels!
In this engaging introductory course, you’ll learn the fundamentals of drypoint with local professor and internationally exhibited artist Freda Sue. In this direct intaglio technique, drawings are engraved by hand into plexiglass, resulting in an image with rich, velvety lines and unique textures. Explore mark-making, composition, inking, and hand-printing using a press, while developing your small edition of original prints.

When: Four evening classes in July 2025 (7/9, 7/16, 7/23, 7/30)
Duration: 2 hours per session (4 sessions total)
Where: The Good Art Co. printmaking studio – Downstairs studio entrance 10 Central Ave., Greenville, SC 29601
Ticket: $180 for all four sessions ($45 per person per session) Includes most materials; a limited supply list will be provided upon registration.
Who Should Join: Beginners welcome – no printmaking experience needed!
